Mr. Haridas Kanani is the Chairman Emeritus of the Company and founder of the Neogen Group. Mr. Haridas Kanani, former Chairman and Managing Director of the Company has vide his letter dated August 2, 2025, expressed his desire to take retirement from active role and relinquish his position as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company effective end of working hours of September 30, 2025. The Board had on recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (“NRC”) had in its meeting held on August 2, 2025, accepted his request to take retirement and relinquish his position, as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company with effect from end of working hours of September 30, 2025. Further, considering his past service and a pivotal role played by him in establishing Company’s strong foundation, driving sustained growth, and fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation, and in recognition of his visionary leadership, dedication, and outstanding contributions to the Company’s progress, the Board of Directors had in consultation with and approval of the NRC, had approved conferring Mr. Haridas Kanani with the honorary title of “Chairman Emeritus”(a Non-Executive, Non-Board position), w.e.f. October 1, 2025 post his retirement. In the capacity of Chairman Emeritus he is continuing in a technical advisory role, offering guidance when needed drawing on his >55 years of past experience, but without the formal authority or responsibilities of an active Chairman. He may participate in board and committee meetings of Neogen Group as an observer, provide historical context, and mentor, but shall not vote or have executive decision-making power. Further, he shall not be responsible for any day-to-day operations of the Company. His association with the Company has been integral to its success, and his designation as Chairman Emeritus would be symbolic of the Company’s continued respect and appreciation for his legacy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the IIT, Bombay and is a member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (MIICHE) since December, 1981. He has previously worked with Excel Industries Limited. He then founded Chem Ocean Industries which was set up as one of India’s first Bromine plants using indigenous technology at Navalakhi, Gujarat. Due to floods in 1976, the Bromine plant was destroyed. He then set up Chem Ocean Consultants which provided consultancy, technology and engineering technologies to set up Bromine plants to other companies. In 1985 he set up Prachi Chemicals to manufacture organic and inorganic Bromides. Later in 1989 he established Neogen Chemicals Private Limited and has since served on its Board as Chairman and Managing Director till September 30, 2025. As on date, he does not hold any directorship in any of the companies / body corporates.

Mr. Anurag Surana is the Chairman and Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Company. He has over 29 years’ experience in the Specialty Chemical industry and is a known and reputed name in the chemical industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce with Honours from the University of Delhi. He founded and manages a consulting company Kagashin Global Network Private Limited, specializing in consulting with companies in the Specialty chemicals & agrochemical companies in India and abroad. He was earlier an executive director on the Board of PI Industries Limited. Mr. Surana is also on the board of other chemical companies like Privi Specialty Chemicals Ltd, Yasho Industries Limited, Cohizon Life Sciences Limited, Neogen Ionics Limited and Neogen Morita New Materials Limited. A graduate chemical engineer and PhD from USA with excellent industrial experience, Harin leads the Neogen business growth and is the key contact person for customers.

Dr. Harin Kanani is the Managing Director of the Company. He heads various business divisions of the Company including research and development, business development, growth strategy, quality control, purchase, marketing and finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Maryland. He has served as a research fellow at the University of Maryland, U.S.A, where he published four first author manuscripts in the field of chemical engineering. In addition to his academic achievements he further established one of the first US academic lab for metabolomics program in 2003. He has been a speaker at several national and international conferences. He has also participated in the Small and Medium Enterprises Programme from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has previously worked with Asian Paints India Limited and has been a Research Scientist at Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., United States (a DuPont Company). He joined Neogen Chemicals Limited in 2008 as a General Manager and has been on the Board of the Company as a Director from July 15, 2013 and as a Managing Director from July, 22 2017. Mr. Triplicane Commandor Narasimhan Sai Krishnan is an Executive Director of the Company, and oversees operations in the Company. He is a Chemical Engineer Diploma in Polymer Technology with MBA in Finance. He has over 33 years of work experience in the field of Manufacturing, Projects, Procurement & Supply Chain with specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, paints, inks & FMCG industries. Prior to Neogen he has worked with SRF Limited, Asian Paints Ltd, Thirumalai Chemicals, Shalimar Paints Limited, Sakata Inx India Pvt Ltd, Laxmi Organics Limited and TCI Sanmar Chemicals. He is also an Executive Director on the Board of Neogen Ionics Limited (the Wholly owned subsidiary of the Company), and an executive Director of Neogen Morita New Materials Limited (the Step Down Subsidiary of the Company). Mr. Shyamsunder Upadhyay oversees manufacturing, maintenance, projects, logistics, plant administration and engineering store in the Company. He has a master’s degree in science from Vikram University, Ujjain. He has over 48 years of work experience in the field of chemicals and was previously been associated with companies, such as, Savita Chemicals, Wimco, Gharda Chemicals, Clariant India, Tytan Organics Limited, Arch Pharmalabs Limited and Laxmi Organic Industries Limited.
